Regular Fall Session classes start on

Tuesday, September  12th  at 6 pm or

Saturday, September  16th at 10 am. 

Spanish 1, 2, 3, 4 (A1/A2)
Spanish 5 conversation beginners (B1/B2)
Spanish club (C1/C2)

Classes fees for Fall, Winter and Spring sessions: $ 220.

Only $ 600 if you pay in advance for all 3 sessions! Ask us about this option.

Seniors 65+: $ 190 (pay only in person at the school)

Class size: In order to achieve teaching excellence and to provide individualized attention to our students we limit our class size to 20 students.


Spanish for Travelers

Join this course, created especially for you, the traveler.

You will learn the skills to survive a trip to any Spanish speaking country.

You will learn Spanish introductions, greetings, asking for directions and accommodations, how to order food, how to exchange currency, how to ask for the cost of items.

Learn all these skills in a fun and relaxed environment.

Duration: 3 sessions of 3 hours each

Tuesdays ( 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm)  November 21, 28 and December 5 

Saturdays( 10:00 am – 1:00 pm) :  Dec. 2, 9 and 16

Guitar Lessons ( Tuesdays 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm)

Join to an amazing musical experience, created especially for adults who want to learn to play guitar. If you don’t have the guitar yet, the School is willing to borrow one during the class time only.


Learning Spanish at Gabriela Mistral Latin American School is more than just learning the world’s second-most spoken language. It also means experiencing the spice of Latin American culture along with meeting a variety of people from different backgrounds and making friends in an open and relaxed environment.

For adults we offer:

Spanish 5 conversation beginners (B1/B2)
Spanish club (C1/C2)
  • Duration: 27 hours per session, 9 classes, 3 hours each.
  • Days: Tuesday evenings (6pm-9pm) or Saturday mornings (10am-1:00pm).

Textbooks: For Spanish 1, 2, 3 and 4 “Vente 1”; this volume contains levels A1 and A2 of the European Framework.   The textbook contains a unique code to download the digital version of the book. The course features :

Cultural Activities: As part of our curriculum, all students are exposed to Latin American cultures through exhibits, sampling ethnic food from different Latin American countries on Saturdays, and music classes. Our very talented music teachers will visit your classroom every week for 20 minutes to teach you popular Latin songs.
